1. Select files
Open Nero Recode and select the files you want to convert. To do this, click on “Import video files” or “Import audio files” or simply drag and drop them in.
2. Select target format
Select the format you want to convert the files to.
3. Start encoding
Click on “Start encoding” to start the conversion process. Nero Recode automatically converts your files into the desired format.

I have only used the Recode program and it proved very useful in reducing the size of a video so I could send it in WhatsApp. You do get a few other programs that can help you put video onto CDs if you wish. There will be more to use but so far so good.
